This often requires the box to be taken outside to the inverter to work properly which requires an extension cord or portable usb power pack. We are hearing from more and more people who have a solar inverter on their house that isn t working. If there is enough light outside for the panels to generate and the inverter screen is not showing anything then there s a good chance there s no grid supply to the inverter. More on that in a second.

The inverter lights should go off and the screen go blank. When they are looking at the inverter the screen is blank and none of the lights are on. When the inverter is producing energy the green led will be constantly on. This means that the inverter is connected to the monitoring platform.

You may have a couple and these will be located by the inverter. The following tables detail the possible led and switch combinations and what they mean. This is the easiest one. It simply would say off it.

Regardless you can try holding the red button until all lights come on then release and they will pulse while re pairing takes place. Next turn the dc isolators to the off position. Follow these basic checks to ensure the system is still generatin. When your panels begin producing in the morning it may take a few minutes for all the panels to respond and show up on the display. Check all mcbs miniature circuit breakers and rcds residual current detectors to ensure they re all in the on position up. Press once the green button at the bottom of the inverter or the ok button on the front of the inverter.
